Hey, I’m Maggie Jo!
Adventure is my passion, and as a content creator, I’ve built my career around exploring the outdoors and inspiring others to do the same. From cold plunging and winter surfing to skiing, ice climbing, rock climbing, bikepacking, backpacking, kayaking, and hiking—I’ve traveled the world chasing the thrill of the wild. Through it all, I’ve learned that travel is the greatest teacher.
That’s why I couldn’t be more stoked to take on Iceland with you! We’ll be trekking across glaciers, toasting in hot springs, and diving headfirst into the kind of adventure that stays with you forever. Some of my best travel experiences have been with Kook, which is why I’m so excited to team up with her to create something truly unforgettable.

DAY # 1/ Saturday January 10
Keflavík International Airport – Reykjavík (B)
You will be picked up from the airport to be driven to your first excursion before checking into the hotel.
Activities:

DAY # 2/ Sunday January 11
Snæfellsnes Peninsula – Borgarnes (B, D)
You will head north to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula which offers a diverse and picturesque experience, from dramatic coastlines and volcanic craters to historic fishing villages and glacial wonders.
Activities:
☯Tour fishing villages, black beaches + visit Kirkjuellfas Waterfall
☯ Visit famous small wooden church surrounded by lava fields
☯ It is never promised but along this Icelandic countryside is a chance for you to grasp the northern lights
Drive time: Around 2 hours with stops on the way

DAY # 3/ Monday January 12
Golden Circle – Selfoss (B, L)
You will begin the exploration of Icelands famous Golden Circle.
Activities:
☯ Drive through Thingvellir National Park
☯ Explore the geothermal area of Geysir
☯ Gullfoss waterfall viewing
☯ Visit the Friðheimar Tomato Greenhouse for a unique culinary experience

DAY # 4/ Tuesday January 13
South Shore – Vík (B, D)
We will head to Icelands South Coast and Vik, the southernmost village in Iceland.
Activities:
☯ (If it is not too icy) we will walk behind and explore the mighty Skógafoss waterfall
☯ Take a stroll on a black sand beach
Drive time: Around 5 hours in and out of the car over the course of the day

DAY # 5/ Wednesday January 14
Skaftafell – Jökulsárlón – Vík (B, D)
Today as as you head to the town of Vik, you will cross lava fields, volcanic sand, and other unique landscapes.
Activities:
☯ Glacier trek from Skaftafell
Drive time: 1 hour
Accommodation: Fosshótel Núpar
DAY # 6/ Thursday January 15
Vík – Reykjavík
Today we will make our way back to the city of Reykjavik. You will be able to catch any of the views you did not see on the way including the Dyrhólaey cliffs or the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue.
Drive times: Around 2.5 hours

DAY #7 /Friday January 16
Reykjavík – Keflavík International Airport
Today you will head to the airport to transport home.
