Hi there, I’m Kaleigh—though most know me as Kook, a nickname that’s stuck with me through countless adventures!

My journey has shown me that nature heals, music inspires, and self-improvement flourishes when we step beyond familiar boundaries. Exploring the great outdoors and immersing myself in diverse cultures is what drives me forward. Often, the best version of me emerges when I’m far from home, embracing new environments and diving into new experiences. These moments of exploration and cultural exchange continually inspire and motivate me to evolve and share my passion for travel with others.

I’ve learned that the most profound moments of self-discovery come from fully embracing the unknown—the challenges, the landscapes, the rituals, and the connections. Having the courage to continuously jump into the unknown has shaped me into a curious, empathetic, and deeply connected adventure guide.

Today, I’m dedicated to leading transformative travel journeys for others. These experiences range from multi-week pilgrimages and yoga retreats in serene mountain landscapes to cultural explorations and adventures that help participants reconnect with themselves and the world. Together, we celebrate life, embrace the beauty of the world, and create a vibrant community of like-minded travelers. Whether you're seeking personal growth, discovery, or simply a change of scenery, I strive to craft travel experiences that are meaningful, inspiring, and life-changing.

Hi I’m Lillee!! Originally from Buffalo, I’ve been living in Brooklyn for the past 4+ years working in the music industry. I met Kook back in May 2024 through – you guessed it – Instagram DMs. Flash forward to today and I’m leading marketing strategy for Kook’s Wild Ride.

My first trip with Kook was Nepal 2024, the most high adventure trip I’d ever done to that point. Hiking, meditating and tapping into a deeper level of consciousness, Nepal was the beginning of my newest and biggest adventure, working with Kook. An avid traveler myself, I had never participated in a group trip prior to Nepal. Letting someone else take the reigns and handle all of the coordination? Never heard of her! Now I can confidently say it is my favorite way to travel and it’s a life goal of mine to see the world with KWR.

Since Nepal, I’ve traveled on Kook’s Peru trip and I’m signed up for the Zimbabwe adventure in May 2026. I hope to see you on a trip!!

Hello! I’m Brynn, and I’m thrilled to be a trip leader at Kook’s Wild Ride. Two of my greatest passions are traveling and connecting with people, and this role allows me to blend these loves while sharing my zest for life with you.

Originally from Buffalo, New York, I’m a travel nurse who loves hiking, being outdoors, running, and savoring delicious food. My travels have taken me to many incredible places, with Guatemala standing out for its rich adventure and culture. After hiking Volcán Acatenango and witnessing the awe-inspiring eruptions of Volcán de Fuego last April, I’m eager to return for more.

My love for international travel began during a study abroad trip to Europe, but visiting Nepal with Kook has easily been the highlight of my adventures—one of the many reasons I love supporting these trips and guiding you through the best trip of your life.

Originally from Roscoe, Illinois, I moved to Idaho in 2020 and haven’t looked back since. I’m a licensed massage therapist and certified yoga instructor with a passion for helping people reconnect with their bodies and minds. On my days off, you’ll usually find me practicing yoga, hiking, backpacking, or fishing with my husband and our dog.

The outdoors—especially snow-capped mountains—are my favorite playground, and I can’t wait to experience this serene corner of the world with you.

Hi! I am Katrina! Originally from Seattle, I spent years traveling the world as a digital nomad before settling down in Brooklyn, New York. My love for travel was sparked early on by my adventurous parents, what began as a six-month trip turned into three and a half years of exploring new corners of the world.

Nothing brings me more joy than immersing myself in a new culture—connecting with locals, savoring their food, discovering their music, and learning their customs, religion, and daily rhythms. Each experience has taught me so much about myself and continues to shape the way I see the world.

I met Kook on a group trip, and we instantly bonded over our shared passion for meaningful, off-the-beaten-path experiences. Joining Kook’s Wild Ride feels like the perfect fit! I feel incredibly fortunate for the adventures I’ve had and can’t wait to help others step out of their comfort zones and discover the magic of travel. Hello, I’m Nicole!

I met Kook while floating down the Deschutes River in Oregon — and instantly connected over our shared love for adventurous travel (still can’t believe my luck!).

Originally from Southern California, I now call Washington home, where I get to enjoy the best of both worlds — surfing, hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, yoga, and rafting right in my backyard. I got yoga certified in Rishikesh, India and love to incorprate the practice into my guiding.

I’m happiest when I’m off on a new adventure and connecting with fellow travelers. Excited to see the world with all of you! 🌎

I went on Kook’s Guatemala trip and it was the best decision I could have ever made! The trip was six days of trying new foods, meeting new people, and challenging myself more than I ever have before. It would simply be impossible to distill the type of experience Kook’s trips offer to an adventurer into one review, but I owe it to anyone considering taking this leap to attempt to write one. I’ve been lucky enough to partake in multiple UK trips, including Alaska and Peru. Both trips included travelers with years of experiences to novices alike. No matter the experience level you feel comfortable the moment you sign up for a trip. Kaleigh’s direct communication offer an immediate sense of comfort that leave you feeling prepared and excited for the trip ahead. But, most spectacularly, Kaleigh’s true talents shine through her ability to curate a trip that turns strangers into friends, and a group of travelers into a community. Whoever said you can’t find yourself on the top of a mountain has never taken an Uncle Kook’s trip!! Kook led an unbelievable adventure through Nepal where we were deeply immersed in culture, spirituality, and nature. This trip (and especially Kook!) allowed me to push myself outside my comfort zone and experience something truly remarkable while meeting amazing people along the way.
