Brynn is originally a travel nurse from Buffalo, New York, who has participated in a variety of Kook's adventures. Her two biggest passions are traveling and connecting with people. DAY # 1
You will arrive in Guatemala and be picked up at airport to be transported to the hotel.
Activities:

DAY # 2
Antigua Exploration Day (B, D)
We will delve deeper into the enchanting spanish colonial town by exploring the town center, iconic Plaza Mayor, Cerro de la Cruz, Cathedral, and more.
Activities:

☯ Free time in afternoon
Drive time: No driving

DAY # 3
Volcano Camping Excursion (B, L, D)
We will rise early to embark on our journey to the summit of Volcan Acatenango.
Activities:
☯ Hike 4-5 hours to our camping destination
☯ Watch sunset and enjoy fire
☯ There is an optional additional hike to the base of Volcan Fuego (25 USD pp).
Elevation Gain: 5150 ft spanning over 11 miles to the summit. We will be sleeping at around 10,000 feet.
Drive time: 2 hours to start of hike
Accommodation: Small cabins with a mattress on the ground

DAY # 4
Volcano- Lake (B)
Today we will wake up at 2 am to summit the volcano. We will then head to Lake Atitlan following the hike.
Activities:
☯ Sunrise summit at 2 am
☯ Hike down from hike
☯ Eat lunch and then take boat ride to Santa Cruz
☯ Free time in the evening to swim and relax
Drive time: 3 hours to lake/ 30 minute boat ride to Santa Cruz
Accommodation: La Iguana Perdida

DAY # 5
Lake Atitlan Exploration Day (B)
We will engage in mindful activities, swim, and play around Lake Atitlan, the largest lake in Central America.
Activities:
☯ Yoga class at the eagles nest in San Marcos
☯ Optional cliff jumping
☯ Shop and explore the town of San Marcos
Drive time: 20 minute boat ride to San Marcos
Accommodation: Same as day 4

DAY # 6
On this final day of the trip we will explore the charming lake village of San Juan known for its vibrant indigenous culture and stunning natural beauty.
Activities:
☯ Morning sunrise paddle
☯ Check out of hotel after breakfast
☯ Explore San Juan
Drive times: 30 minute boat ride to San Juan. 3 hour drive from lake to transit hotel

DAY #7
Flight Home (B)
Today we will transport back to the USA.

YES. The second you consider a trip with us, please check to ensure your passport is up to date and does not expire up to 6 months after the trip. At the moment, all of our trips are international. However, if we choose to do a
domestic one you would not need a passport but would need the REAL ID come 2025. In general, this is something you should consider getting soon to assist with your travel needs next year
Whether you need a visa depends on the country we are visiting. We will let you know in advance if a visa is required for any of our trips. Please be aware that visa fees are not included in the trip prices, but they are generally inexpensive. We will guide you through the simple visa application process before each trip.

Travel insurance is not included in our trip package. While it is not mandatory to join our trips, it is highly recommended. Travel insurance can cover various aspects of your journey, and there are many types and options available. Flights are not included in our trip packages. However, we are happy to assist you in finding and choosing the best flight options for each trip. Please keep in mind that we recommend purchasing flight insurance for added
peace of mind.
Yes, transfers to and from the airport upon arrival and departure are included in our trips. Please note, that if you arrive or depart outside of the scheduled trip dates, we can arrange transfers for an additional fee.

Please inform us of your specific needs in advance, and we will make every effort to ensure you are properly catered for throughout the trip. Please note that the ability to accommodate dietary restrictions may vary by location. We are knowledgeable of the areas we visit though, and will inform you if your specific needs cannot be met.
We arrange rooms based on your preferences. Often, friends and partners sign up together and request to share a room. Alternatively, solo travelers sometimes express a desire to share, and we assist in pairing them up.

deducted from the total trip price. The final payment is due typically between 35
to 60 days prior to the start of the trip. The exact deadline depends on the country
